Kelly Dawn is passionate about capturing the essence and energy of human personalities while using nature as the backdrop. Starting with concert and band photography in 2011 and then evolving her style into journalistic photography in 2014 - Kelly is an adaptable collaborator whose backcountry experience allows her access to unique wicked terrain. She enjoys telling the organic story of the night sky and the wilderness around her through her exceptional time-lapse cinematography.
Not only is Kelly Dawn a skilled and talented photographer/cinematographer but she is also a caring teacher. Kelly Dawn spent over a year running a children and family photography studio in San Bruno California. She trained her fellow employees to be portrait photographers - how to compose and expose an image, how to edit and adjust the photography as well as how to print photos in high quality. Her ability with studio lighting and people management is unparalleled.
Kelly Dawn enjoys and is proficient in snowboarding, winter camping, backcountry hiking and camping, stand-up paddle boarding, mountain biking along with many other outdoor sports.
